「冨嶽三十六景（ふがくさんじゅうろっけい）」は、葛飾北斎の代表作。このシリーズは1830年頃から、西村屋与八（永寿堂） によって出版されました。このシリーズには「神奈川沖浪裏（通称：波間の富士）」など、世界的にも有名な作品が含まれている。
「諸国瀧廻り（しょこくたきめぐり）」は、代表作「冨嶽三十六景」が出版された後、1833年頃に同じ版元・西村屋与八（永寿堂）から出版されたシリーズです。全8図からなる本シリーズは、江戸近郊にとどまらず、日光、木曽の山奥や東海道筋の鈴鹿峠、吉野など各地の名瀑を題材にしたものです。
“Thirty-six Views of Mt. Fuji” is a masterpiece by Katsushika Hokusai. This series was published by Yohachi Nishimuraya (Eijudo) from around 1830. This series includes world-famous works such as “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” (commonly known as Fuji in the Waves).
“A Tour of Waterfalls in Various Provinces” is a series published around 1833 by the same publisher, Nishimuraya Yohachi (Eijudo), after the publication of his masterpiece, “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji.” This series, consisting of eight illustrations, features famous waterfalls not only in the outskirts of Edo, but also in Nikko, the mountains of Kiso, Suzuka Pass along the Tokaido road, Yoshino, and other places.
